Mission

We aim to offer scholarships in Mainland China to students who study hard to achievement outstanding results and need financial assistance to pursue their studies of a degree course.

Amount of Financial Assistance

Amount of scholarship: Up to RMB6,000 per student per year.

Eligibility

1. Applicants who need financial assistance.
2. Applicants who have been offered a degree course.
3. Applicants who are willing to do voluntary work for Twinklestars while receiving scholarships from Twinklestars. The voluntary work may include assisting Twinklestars to select applicants and looking after newly selected applicants.
4. Preference will be given to applicants who pledge to, as far as possible, financially and/or spiritually, assist Twinklestars to sustain and spread the spirit of helping people in need.

Duration of Assistance

1. Successful applicants will be awarded scholarships for 4 to 5 years depending on the duration of their respective degree courses.
2. Applicants must apply for extension of the scholarship in each academic year.
3. Applicants must maintain good records in their studies and conduct, which will be considered when they apply for extension of the scholarship to the next academic year.

Note

1. Each successful applicant (whom we will affectionately refer to as ‘Star’) will be affiliated with one or more sponsors (whom we will respectfully refer to as ‘Star Father/Mother’) who have pledged to provide scholarship.
2. The Star should keep his/her Star Father/Mother informed about his/her university life and work so that a sharing and caring relationship can be established between them.
